I’ve heard the Pandora flight ride thing isn’t too friendly for plus size people?
move heard they used to have a sample ride vehicle to see if you fit but not sure if they are still doing it due to covid

I’ve seen plus size people ride...I guess it depends on how plus size we are talking?

My husband is a large man -- 300 lbs. He's never had trouble riding it.

We went in September and they still had the vehicle outside to try. There was a Disney cast member there too that helped with the vehicle. My husband is 350lbs and didn’t fit. Was nice to try so he didn’t have to wait in line for nothing. 8 yr old Daughter and I still rode and he was able to find a comfortable place to wait.

I didn’t fit the first time I tried; the calf restraints wouldn’t close. I was 5’3” and 260. Only ride I’ve ever not fit on, including at universal. My mom was taller and heavier but fit because her weight was distributed differently. I lost 20 pounds and came back wearing flip flops instead of tennis shoes to get my feet deeper in the footwells. It was snug but I rode! I last rode at 220 and had no trouble in tennis shoes.

Some people with larger stomachs struggle with the back restraint. It depends how your weight is distributed and how you get yourself set before the restraints click into place, so trying the test seat is a really good idea on both counts :)

Hi OP, here is another thread where this was discussed in depth. Having heights/weights/pants sizes can be helpful in figuring it out - no guarantee of course. But this thread has 47 pages of replies (people were discussing it a lot more when the ride first opened) so you'll probably find it helpful.

I am pretty sure it also had the "tricks" you can do to increase the chances the back of the seat will click in place.

It depends on your shape. I was afraid my sister wouldn’t be able to ride because of her large chest and overall size. The actual problem turned out to be her calves were too large and the leg restraints couldn’t lock. However, the CM felt so bad she gave all of us 2 bonus FastPasses.

Good to know - and congrats!
