Pandora bracelet lovers- charm question

I was given a charm (called piece of my heart) that is two charms in one. Each piece has a dangle red heart and one says mother and the other says daughter. DD suggested she gets the daughter one and I get the mother one. But is it the opposite or should i even have both? Which would you do?

I had a break away necklace one said mom , other daughter. I wore the daughter one. My mom , well wore the mother one.

So I would think it would be the same way.

I love my Pandora bracelet(s - working on my 2nd one now)! If it were me, I think I would keep the "mother" charm and give her the "daughter" one but its your bracelet so do what makes you happy.

I need a second bracelet too. I have too many charms to fit on my one. I was building a travel bracelet but DH and DDs have been getting me family charms. So I need another bracelet to make a family one.
