Well I lost track of the fact that it was a new year and I completely forgot to write a New Years Panda Rambling for my fellow athletes, friends and those that think I should be locked up for my own safety. The tragic happenings this weekend give what I have to say even more meaning.
Make this the year that you learn who you are. Stretch your limits, push through your comfort zone in everything you do, not just athletics but all phases of your life. You really don't know you if you don't see what your made of and what your capable of.
Learn what your personal standards are and don't accept substandard anything from yourself. Be accountable to you and don't settle or make excuses, you are your own keeper. You control only two things in this life, your own thoughts and actions.
Make this the year of "Hell Yeah" and "Yes I Can". They ain't seen the best of you yet, not by a long shot. Get your best Grrrrrrrrr on and keep it going, one victory at a time.
We have some awesome races this weekend and a chance to learn something about ourselves. They say endurance racing will change you forever, believe it, it does.
Thanks for Reading.
