Helloooo!!! This is my first PTR, but I have speant many an hour stalking the boards since I booked our second trip to WDW in Feb!! And since it's only two weeks away now :yay: I can't contain my excitement any longer so the only thing to do was write a PTR.

Plus I'm pretty sure everyone i know is fed up with me talking about it. So I'll talk about on the Dis to anyone who'll listen!

Me and my DBF are flying on 6th of Sept for two weeks in Orlando at the Sheraton Vistana!!! And I can barely wait anymore. I have done all the planning that can possibly be done, and have been trying to stop myself packing already for about a month. If it wasn't for the fact that I need to wear my clothes...

We've been together once in Nov 2009, my first time, and my DBF Daniel has been a couple of times before that with his family.

Here's us last holiday... I don't need to tell you where we are ;)

This is me:

21 years old, a uni student and part time worker. I spend a shameful amount of time on the Dis looking at TR's and dining reviews. I love my food, movies, and my dogs. I've got a Shihtzu called Belle, and wish I could bring her with me.

This is Daniel:

22 years old, a uni student doing Physics. He loves the usual boy stuff, computer games ect. He is also an excercise freak and plans to get up at 6 everyday to go the gym :scared1:

It was a brilliant holiday, and I fell in love with Disney and Orlando in general, and can't think of going anywhere else. Thats not to say it didn't have its stressful moments! We we're both sick when we got there. Me with a stomach bug and Daniel with Bronchitus. We had to call the doctor for Daniel who felt terrible, but she was excellent and within an hour he was having a chest xray in our room. We got it sorted and despite being told to rest, he really didn't and we went to SeaWorld the next day.

It was also fairly cold when we went last time so I'm looking forward to the hot Florida sun.

Anyway thats enough rambling for now, next up my sort of itinerary.

Oh, and you might wonder why this is called Pancakes, well I love my pancakes and am almost as excited to have Ihop and and Kona macadamia nut pancakes as I am to go to the magic kingdom

Hi Charlie!!
Nice to 'meet' you- sounds like we've got a few things in common,

You could be describing me exactly!! With so much in common I naturally got very excited reading the beginning of your pre-trip report and I hope you write a full trip report when you get back- it's nice for me to see what other young couples get up to in the World as we are hoping to go back in 2013 :)

Anyway enough about me! So what do you study at uni? I'm sad to hear you got sick in 2009, I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine this time and I hope it all goes well! Love the pic of you in the Minnie Ears by Everest too! :lovestruc Can't wait to hear your itinerary and plans, have you made any ADRs? Are you renting a car?

Eagerly awaiting the rest of your trip report (makes me forget my next trip is soooo far away when I read others' trip reports!)...... Not long til you'll be doing the SDD! Woohoo!

Hi Charlie, great start! I'll be there from the 9th. It's sooo close! :goodvibes

Hi Lauren! Thanks for reading. Hope you enjoy your trip!

And wow, 4 tickers! You must be doing this

Hi Jodie, nice to 'meet' you too! Its nice to hear we've got a lot in common and that you enjoy reading my waffle. I'm definately going to do a TR when we get back so I can re-live it all again, and I hope it helps you when planning your next trip! Excited for you :cool1:

I study Business and Events Management, what about you?

At least you have a long time to plan your next trip anyway, which is always a fun experience for me!

We are renting a car because travel was a nightmare for us last time and we speant a silly amount of money on cabs, it'll be nice to have the freedom to go wherever, whenever.

I'd like to hear about any plans you have, it's never too early!

I got my red envelope today!! :cool1: SO excited.

So, the story of the itinery is that I made one and then my Dbf went all spontaneous on me and decided he didn't want a plan he wants to do whatever, whenever :sad2:. So we came to a compromise and on days when we have ADR's i'm allowed to have a plan and on days where we don't we'll be spontaneous (except that I will gently steer us to what I planned to do ;)).

So these are my old holiday plans (I had a geek attack and made these on word :rolleyes1):

<a href="http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=Untitled-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Untitled-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And these are my new plans:

<a href="http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=plans.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/plans.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=plans2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/plans2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

:sad2:

Ohh well, at least I got to keep some plans, and if I complain enough I might get my way :rolleyes1

I really couldn't decide what restaurant at DHS to eat at, I booked Mama Melrose then changed it to Sci-fi, we can only do one so I went with atmosphere over menu. Although I do fancy their onion rings and the beef and blue salad, what do you think?

You might wonder why Epcot is not in our plans. Well... (some of you might want to cover your eyes for this ) we don't love Epcot. We didn't have a fun time there, I think for Dbf its the lack of thrill rides, and maybe we were just in bad moods that day or something. So it's not in our plans but we might spend some time there if we feel like it. Theres a couple of things I'd like to do, sorin, pick a pearl the caramel shop, and I always enjoy reading TR's on Epcot so maybe we'll give it a go if I can pursuade Dbf.

It's getting so close and I can't help feeling like I've forgotten something important  And that we're going to have some disaster and not be able to go. I think the responsibility is getting to me lol Is it normal to have a bit of freak out before a hol? I hope so:rolleyes1

Fab start - my boyfriend is about the same and doesn't really get the whole planning it out thing!?!

Well done you trying to go with the flow some days though - that would freak me out a little :upsidedow

Your plans look wonderful, especially the first set

If I was you I would 'pretend' that everything was spontanious and make gentle 'suggestions' about what you should do tomorrow each night over pancakes :thumbsup2

Please give Epcot another go, perhaps concentrate on trying different foods or drinks at the various countries in World Showcase; you could make a fun afternoon of it without even touching the rides :)

Your plans sound great, please give epcot another chance, try to see illuminations as this place is so different after dark

Boys! They just don't get it :confused3

I'm going to try and keep calm and go with the flow

I'm definately going to try and steer him in right direction ;)

Thats a good idea, I think we'll do a few hours in the afternoon and have a back up plan just in case, but I think i'll like it now I know what its all about.

Thats a good idea too, I'd like to see Illuminations. Hopefully we can fit it in :thumbsup2

Finalising our plans now :goodvibes And trying to stop myself changing all our reservations. It's too hard to choose from the restaurants at WDW! I've cancelled Portobello in dtd in exchange for a signiture :cool1: And now having a hard time making a decision on which one, surprisingly all of the signitures have openings on the night we want except Le Cellier.

I feel a bit guilty because we're suposed to be eating in alot to save money, but I keep saying things like "We're on vacay", and "We only go to Disney every once in a while"

I've read some great reviews for Artist Point, so i'm leaning towards that but theres so many and I'm terrible at making decisions

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of booking it for the wednesday our first whole day in Orlando.

Missed my SDD :sad2:, so I'll do one now :banana::banana::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Thats enough of that...

Thanks everyone who's replied :goodvibes

Booked our park tickets yesterday through Virgin. Was completely swayed by free early admission To IOA which I think will be really useful from what I've been reading and hearing, and free universal parking and a free breakfast at the Three Broomsticks. Not too fussed about the breakfast, but free parking will be nice. And since I was buying the flex-tickets I decided to get the Disney ones aswell. We were going to buy them when we got there but it feels so nice to have it done and they'll be at the airport when we arrive :cool1:

Also just about to book a trek at Horse World riding stables for the last day of our holiday as I've always wanted to go riding and thought it'd be a nice last day treat to look forward to. It's only a basic trek for begginners but I'm so excited :woohoo:

Then afterwards we're going to lunch at Teppan Edo and staying at Epcot to see Illuminations. This all came from me asking Dbf what he wants to do on the last day, he replied "I want to do whatever YOU want to do", so I thought I'd really take advantage of that. And if he complains I'll refer him to that conversation :rolleyes1

Not alot still to do apart from get our $$$'s which I'm planning to on Friday. Not the best exchange rate but it could be worst and at least your still get a bit more for your money even though it's not quite 1:2 like the good old days. Then a last minute trip to get some water proof mascara ;) and we'll be ready to go. I'm even excited for the airport and plane, and I hate waiting and long flights

Just caught up, your plans look really good! I wish I was a good planner!

The Horse World trek sounds really good as well, can;t wait to hear more about that!:goodvibes

One more day to wait!!! Yay! Too tired to do any banana dancing tonight. Last day at work today for two whole weeks, great feeling :goodvibes But was soooo busy today with all the kids going back to school.

Got our dollars and travellers cheques Friday and all the last minute bits and bobs including water proof mascara ;)

Packing tomorrow, and lunch with my Mum for her birthday, and a last walk with the dogs, then up at 6 on Tuesday. Tired just thinking about it and I've still got to dye my hair and paint my toenails :surfweb: Better get on with it instead of surfing the Dis! :rolleyes1
