Wondering if anyone has experience with both of these cameras, and came out with one in the lead?
I am replacing my old sony cyber shot, and was torn between the TZ5 and G9...
I got a really great deal on the G9, so I went with it. While I do like it, I am having trouble focusing some of the "zoom" pics, and it seems kind of bulky / akward to me. Just don't really feel like I "love" it.
I have a few more days before I can return / exchange it without penalty, and I just don't know what to do.
It is so hard to decide if I like something, just by using it in the store.
I will say, that I have little knowledge, and will not be making much use of all the "extras" the g9 has to offer, with manual settings. I jsut don't have the time to learn it.
I mainly take pics of my kids and vacations, lol. So I need something with a good zoom, and a quick shutter speed, so that my child hasn't disappeared from the camera view by the time the pic is actually taken!!
I do like that the g9 seems to do great with taking out the "blur" in moving pics.
TIA for any advice!!
