Panama City Beach....tell me what you know!

I recently read that a new airport is opening at Panama City Beach and there are new shops and such. The article really made it sound inviting. We thought of going there before we head to the Keys. Is it worth it?

The new shopping area is nice if you like to shop. They also opened the new pier. It would be hard to say if it would be worth it to you though. Have fun whatever you do!
