Spenidng time at a condo at Panama city beach before disney. Recommendations on what not to miss?

All depends on what you are looking for!

Not a fan of PCB... as there are too many other nicer areas right there.

Go to tripadvisor and pull up florida panhandle - forums.

Happy planning!

We have been to many Florida beaches and I would suggest you really decide if PCB is where you want to spend your time and money. I wish someone had been upfront with me about what PCB is all about. I would return to Cocoa, Marco, Sanibel or the Keys before I would ever spend another dime in PCB. I hear fabulous things about Anna Maria Island but haven't been there. If girls in sundresses puking in the Walmart parking lot at 4pm is your idea of a fun time, then PCB is your place. I could go on and on about our experience there. Never again! :sad2:

And, nope, one does not have to travel that far to find a better destination... Just 30 minutes will do it! ;)

Those white sands and clear emerald/turquoise waters near PCB on the Panhandle are soooo nice!

OP, we don't mean to be negative... Just chiming in here.

I know it is possible that your condo is already arranged and is a done-deal...

Please do tell us what you might be looking for in your stop at the beach...
What ages are your party, and what you all might enjoy.
What kind of accommodations?
etc.

:goodvibes

I live 50 miles from PCB and I dont go to the beach that often, they do have a water park (shipwrick island) pricey, gulf world, have not been in years, they have a couple of boat rides, a pirate ship my kids loved, and a speed boat that holds like 30 people or so it was yellow but forget the name (you could google, it was worth the price they make sure to get by any dolphens and saw some jelly fish and the pick up some crab traps...of course paraselling and renting water craft again pricey, helocoper rides, again pricey.See a patern. I went last year and stayed at Splash, so we mainly just played in the swimming pools. Their realy is not that much family orented stuff to do in PC at least that wont cost a arm and a leg. I went in Aug and the sea weed was nasty maybe July it wont be to bad.

If your kids are like mine though the pool and building sand casels will keep thim happy for a day or two

I think the yellow boat is called the Sea Screamer and we enjoyed it. They have Pier Park which is shopping and eating.
