Congrats Lynne and Jenn! Sorry you seem to be stuck Pooh. It's a constant struggle, but remember every time you exercise you're improving your health a little.
I'm up 1/2 pound this week, but I expected more. Back to being good and eating smart. Walked a mile this morning too!

Good for you Tenya on the mile!
really you stayed the same then, so thats good, right?
I like that "eating smart" phrase.

I was on the net looking at jenny craig earlier.looks good.

Lynne, Jenny's food is really good (at least stateside) and the program is super easy to follow. Thanks for the enouragement on staying the same. I really expected to gain more as we had several occasions to eat cake and ice cream (my faves) and I did and enjoyed every bite :rotfl2:
Eat smart, Tenya

My nephew was born last Tuesday. I saw him born and it was so incredible. My sis only pushed for 4 minutes!!!! I sure wish I could have say the same thing about mine! Anyway, she's doing good and my nephew is healthy precious (I posted a couple of pics on the main board.

Good night to all!!!!

:worship::worship: Way to go Jenn! Awesome, keep up the good work!

Congratulations, Carmen, on the birth of your nephew.

I'm down 1.4 this week, for a total of 19 pounds since mid-March. I walked two miles on the treadmill almost everyday last week. My goal is at least 5 days this week and to get below 20 pounds lost.

Wishing everyone a happy and successful week.

Fight the good fight,
Tenya

WOW, that's great! You can do it!

I finally weighed at the gym today. I was :headache:UP:headache: 5 pounds from my lightest weight of this most recent weight loss journey. Oh well, I have nobody to blame but myself. I've been eating like crap and not exercising much at all. But today, I'm back on it. It's just past noon here today and I've already worked out at the gym for 1.5 hours and I push mowed the lawn which took about 45 minutes. The kids enjoy the kid's club at the gym and I live less than 5 minutes so I have no excuse not to go. My goal is 5 days a week but I will try really hard to get in at least 6 days a week.

Thanks!

Doesnt matter who is to blame it still makes you/me/us feel like crap when we gain!! keep up the gym work.

Yeah, it is quite!

I've exercised 1.5 hours each of the last 4 days. I'm so sore. I was only "off" for 3 weeks and then not totally off (ran 5K, worked out twice in gym). It's pitiful how quickly our bodies start going "back" after just a short time of being off.

Now, I'm really struggling with my diet. I've been so hungry and want to snack constantly! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm down more, won't know until tomorrow how much more.

I've found for me the cravings and hungry all the time is just about gone. I've eliminated most carbs from my diet. I still have bread and fruit, but just about everything else is gone. With my blood sugars being more stable, I feel better and am not hungry all the time. When I do get hungry I have a protien shake, they really do help with feeling satisified, and the ones I have taste good too.

Stateside if anyone is curious what I am doing for weight loss, the program is metabolic research center emetabolic.com.

thats pretty good as well!

No I don't. They do offer a bunch of herbal supplements, some which I do take. The plan really basis itself off of what they call HNS, High Nutrient Supplements, which are high protien drinks/ supplements. Each has around 15 grams of protien. I take 4 a day, one with breakfast and lunch and 2 more. They actually taste awesome and really help with the cravings.

I was right about the weight loss, I weighed in and was down another 3 pounds for a total of 15 in 6 weeks. Only 45 more to go!
