Panama Canal Eastbound Sept. 14, 2013--it'll be WONDER-ful

Sorry for not keeping up on the "Boards," Candy and I have been very busy.

I have tried to keep a list of those who have expressed interest in grouping together to book a shuttle to Hobby Airport...

RanCan......... 2
Pahrumpgirl.... 4
DTA87........... 2
CruzOle......... 2
TheKoeppens.. 2
Sparky47....... 4
Caniac27....... 4
TwinRX........ 1
Umbriagal...... 1

Total: 22

PLEASE...confirm that you are still interested and that I have the number in your group correct.

Also, if there is anyone else that is interested please let me know.

I believe all those listed above have flights that depart 2PM or later, so what time would everyone suggest that we schedule the shuttle for??? :confused3

Let me know and I can make arrangements. Unless of course, someone else would like to take the lead on this...:rolleyes1

I'm still interested...bill

I was thinking the same thing ;) but on our last cruise the ship never felt crowded a lot of the rooms only had 2 people in them! I don't think there will be a line for the upgrade counter!
I hope your wrist heals quickly!

WBPC in May looked booked too.... Then all of a sudden about 3 weeks before cruise day all kind of rooms opened up. I think it has to do with the number of gty's sold.

I have sent private messages to many on this list, please check and respond...Thanks!

I am planning on booking the transportation by next week and needed some info.

We always get photo pass CDs at WDW. I know they offer CDs in cruises but I can't find the price for a 14 night cruise. Any opinion on of it worth it??

I found this info on another tread (from the 14 day Hawaii trips last year): 14 night--it was $399.95 for CD alone, $474.95 with prints.

I looked into it on a 4 day and it was much more expensive than Photo Pass. Since our grown kids and family were traveling with us, thought I would see if we could get all pictures on the same CD but was told they couldn't do it. Also, you can't add borders to them the way you can Photo Pass. Unless you intend to get every picture and have kids you want every picture of (since they seem to take more of the kids) you are probably better off just getting a large package where they will refund the money for the ones you don't use. Sure wish they would bring Photo Pass to the ships. (:-(

Me too! We will be getting a PhotoPass for DL and get most of the pictures from the cruise from that - it is such a better deal!

Which is the better deal.... Package or cd? Just two of us. No kiddies.

For DL I am getting the Photopass+ pre purchase deal online. For DCL I plan on purchasing only a few prints. I have purchased the CD package on some of our first DCL cruises, but now I just don't see much value in it.

Almost time I can finally book excursions etc!:cool1: Now I'm getting nervous about what we want being available and doing it "right". Not that I don't feel confident in my ability to do it--but it's the "unknown". Strange--huh?:confused3

Please count two more in for the Hobby transportation...denamo (2). Planning to be at the airport for 2:30 flights would be fine.

Our Hobby Airport group is now up to 24! :thumbsup2

Have planned several of our excursions. Thought I would share an independent one with everyone we will be doing. It will be the historic tour in Cartagena on Segways! If you do an online search, it is easy to find. This particular group currently has 127 reviews on Trip Advisor and ALL of them are 5 stars. Don't think I've ever seen that. Also gets good reviews on Cruise Critic. Should be fun!

We're checked in and got the excursions we wanted. :cool1: I'll be horse-back riding with Sharan56 in Cabo among other things. Happy to have things settled and no more worrying about things being available. We even got 11:30 PAT!

Good to see more people getting their excursions booked.

I am dreaming of warm temperatures on the cruise. That may be the only summer we get this year. Maybe a few days here and there. I am so done with rain!

Yay... So excited to have somebody to ride with!

Posted the website info on our group facebook site. Wasn't sure if I posted it here, it would be deleted by the boards. I'm not as familiar with disboards. I've used Cruise Critic more since this is only my 2nd DCL cruise. The gentleman I've gotten emails back from is Cesar. Super prompt. Filled out info online at the website. Didn't pay. He emailed me back quickly. Confirmed reservation and will pay once there. We opted to let him arrange the taxi pickup. He works with the taxis, so the rate is already pre-arranged. Had read a review on Trip Advisor where customer got lost, so figured this was more of a sure thing.
