Panama Canal Eastbound Sept. 14, 2013--it'll be WONDER-ful

The website says nothing about luggage so we would have to call. Since we have to be off the ship by 11 it shouldn't be a problem for us all to leave at the same time.

I am assuming that they figure in luggage when they say it is a 14 pax van coming from/going to a cruise.
We are planning on 3 checked bags (not massive but the standard large size) and a couple carryons for the 2 of us but that may change as the actual packing happens. We usually drive to the port so we always overpack so flying both ways will be a new packing experience for us.

I'm just back from the May WBPC and we were 8 passengers in a 14 pax van and luggage space was very tight. I don't think that a limo would work at all.

I know some places have trailers for the luggage. That might be something we can ask about.

Hi,
I'm not sure if you read my post before but my DH (RanCan- Randy) and I would like to participate in the FE and postcard exchange. We don't have a room assignment yet.
Thanks

Yes, I have you on the list. I have quite a few that do not have rooms assigned yet. I will be sending the new add-ons the link in the next few days.

We are also leaving out of hobby at 12:30 so if anyone is leaving early were in. Just let me know. I'm on FB feed also. Sharan Simmers Fosbinder.

WOW! Lots of posts and new cruisers since last week!

I think we are also flying out of Hobby around 6 or 6:30. I can't remember.

I still have not purchased my DL tickets. I am holding out for more YES folks. If anyone has kids that are 3rd grade or higher that would want to do a class at DL the week before we sail let me know! My daughter really wants to do this and I really want the cheaper tickets for the family!

Hey - I had to look this up. It looks pretty cool and I think my ( rising) 4 th grader would like it. So they go to class for three hours then get discounted to to the park?

Yes, and not only do they get discounted tickets - your whole family does. If you ask me it is a fantastic deal and from what I have heard the classes are really wonderful. My daughter is going into 4th grade too. I think we need a group of 9 kids - my son is too young by a year - he is going into the 2nd grade. I have a lot of information I downloaded from their site if you want it about the classes. They all look great. My daughter, Anna, said her favorite would be the animation class - but I think she would enjoy them all.

I wasn't able to email you so I pm'd you,

This is my second Disney cruise. Is the online check in date sooner if you have more Disney cruises under your belt? I read some have already been able to check in already while mid June is my assigned time.

Yep. Platinum and Gold have already checked in. I think Platinum is after 10 cruises and Gold cruisers have 5 cruises under their belt.:earsboy:

Hi, can you add on our cabin number to the FE list? Readyplayer is in stateroom 5126. Thanks :wave2:

Got your email but my reply was bounced back???

Wonder why? I thought for sure a reply should work - hope my email is not having issues. So you did get the email with the class information and ticket prices?

I can't seem to find this in the general info stickies: insist possible to have a cases or 2 of water delivered to your cabin prior to departure?

Yeah, I hit reply and got a mail failure message. I just PM'd you - did you get that?

We are flying out of Hobby also. Called DCL this morning and as of next week they are stopping service to Hobby so we need to find other transportation, too. As well as get our money refunded since we have already paid for our transfers. We booked on points but my girlfriend is a TA and is staying with me right now. She called the AAA TA DCL reservation line and found out for certain. She says that there is a company that charges by auto not by passenger. It might be the one you got. It might be worth looking into several of us taking a larger van and split the cost, depending on flight times. Our flight leaves at 2:10 PM and there would be 4 of us.

We will join a group to share the costs.

Thank you! My wife and I are on Southwest and don't depart Hobby until after 6PM. We would definitely be agreeable to splitting the cost with others who need transportation to Hobby.

We actually fly out on Southwest I think we depart around 2 pm. Would share a ride and the cost with others

We too have booked out of Hobby. This looks like a great option. We are just two people, perhaps someone else would like to join and create a bigger group to use this service. It would be less expensive. PM me or use FB and we can discuss

I am all for saving money so whatever group we can get together that would be great. I am not sure how far out we would need to make a reservation though.

I got an online quote from them before I posted the link for a Towncar for 2 and they came back with $120 which is a little higher than the rate they show on their home screen so I do not know if rates have gone up and they haven't updated their site or if that was a mistake.

I think I read it was something like $24. Not sure but I think you can bring your own.
