I have been considering becoming a consultant with Pampered Chef, and wanted to hear from others who have done it. The investment isn't too much (and right now they are having a 50% rebate), but I've never done anything like this before. Is it really as easy as they make it out to be? how long did it take you to recoup your investment? How many parties did you do per month average? How was the training, did you feel prepared when you got started? Thanks for the help!

I went to a pampered chef show last Friday....its not alot of work for a few hours.....maybe three in all....the demonstrator showed us the products and answered questions.
My daughter was a demonstrator when her children were younger.. That way the kids were home with someone when she did her shows.....
SHe liked it when the going is good......but you have to go to different people so that the same ones are not using all the same people to go to their parties...I love the products so it is easy to talk about it with anyone at all..
Hope you enjoy your new employment
