I saw where you can hold a fundrasier for a neighbor in need and they get a check based on the sales. Has anyone here ever done this? I have a good friend who's 3 yr old just had a bone marrow transplant from leukemia and they are at the Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia for 6 months.

I've never done a fundraiser like that, but I own lots of Pampered Chef stuff and I like it a lot, so I would think you could make a nice chunk of change with it. Just my thoughts.

I have alot of their stuff also and really like it. I sold it about 6 yrs ago before they did fundraisers so I am curious to know what percentage of the sales is given since you don't take any of the free stuff.

I'm doing a Tupperware fundraiser for my La Leche League chapter right now. We looked into Pampered Chef, but Tupperware gave us more money. Pampered Chef had a small brochure of fundraiser items, and I think that the organization got 40% of the money spent. Tupperware has a sizeable book with a lot of the most popular items, and you get 50% of the money spent. Both companies will allow people to order things that aren't in the special fundraising book, but Tupperware gives more money when they do. We get 25% with Tupperware. I can't remember exactly what Pampered Chef was. I want to say 10 or 15%.

My son's cub scout den just held a fundraising pampered chef party. The idea was to buy the pampered chef items to be placed in a toolbox the boys made. The toolbox & the donated pampered chef items will be auctioned at a private school fair. The hostess gifts/awards were bypassed or placed in the toolbox. The idea being the toolbox is for the man of the house & the kitchen tools for the lady. Sexist scout den, I know.

The Pampered Chef "product" fundraiser wil be discontinued 8/1. This is the one with 10 items and the organization keeps 40% of the sales.

The Pampered Chef "classic" fundraiser will continue. For sales under $600, the organization keeps 10%, over $600 15%. The entire catalog is available for this one.

Good luck!

Susan

Our PTA recently hosted a Pampered Chef "fundraising" kitchen party and was considering doing the Pampered Chef flier. The kitchen party gave the school about 15% (I think) of the profits and the flier was going to be around 40% (I think). The problem with the flier is that there were only about 10-12 items on it and they were priced higher than the book and the items were most items that regular Pampered Chef buyers already had so the PTA nixed that idea.
