Yes, our server offered to let us take it back to our room. HTH
On our last cruise I got a Soufle to go and took it to our kids who were enjoying there dinner in the main dining room. Our servers knew exactly what it was and made them feel very special for having it.

We were on last week as well and had a great dinner at Palo. Our server was Salvatore. He never mentioned anything at all about buying wine or a dressing.

The food was great. The choc. soufle was good but could be a bit more intense on the chocolate. I like dark chocolate.

:wave2:

Isn't Salvatore fabulous?!!! Love him! He was our waiter on our Palo night...had us cracking up the whole time. I spent a few minutes with him on Castaway also. He is great with the kids, too.

And, there was no mention about any items that were for sale! I didn't even know they had dressing you could purchase, I probably would have bought some as a nice souvenir!

While trying to book our first Palo dinner on our very first cruise, we met Marco - I thought he was rude and arrogant. After several cruises and chance encounters with him, my opinion never changed. When I heard he had left the ship, I finally had dinner at Palo and enjoyed it. Quite possibly he didn't think that many guests could understand Italian and didn't appreciate his "sense of humor and wit".

Anne Marie was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed the change in staff there.

We have been on DCL quite a few times.
....BUT, I do not like the new special Oil & Vinegar
Bottles for purchase to be offered for us to buy
or the special Palo's wine offered for us to buy
during our meal!!!! Not a good idea AT ALL!!

We found this to be beyond TACKY!!!!.....

We just got off the 6-19 7-day Western (our 3rd Disney cruise). We went to Palo for brunch and dinner. Never was told about anything to purchase.

However, in the regular dining rooms the coconut drink mug was offered to us to purchase for our kids on our second night in Parrot Cay. We thought this was pretty tacky and told the Head Waiter so. JHMO.

I spoke with Salvatore last Saturday (6/26) and he advised that Marco was coming back aboard the ship in a few months. He was very excited that they would be serving together in Palo. Marco was our server the last two cruises and this was the first time I met Salvatore. It was amazing how much they look alike! Salvatore is much more outgoing, but they are both so sweet!

We dined there 6/13.
Wasnt offered anything to buy- had a great waiter.

However, with the massages we had at the spa as part of the REAS package we were offered several prodcuts that they used on us during the massage (costing over $200 total)!
Just what I wanted after a relaxing massage- stress.

Yes it was after and it was a pain! You are all relaxe and frankly not quite thinking at all, and they hit you with the sales pitch for products. I know I just listened with a dazed look on my face.....:)

Yes! I was glazed over and didnt have a clue what she meant when she asked me if she could go over my "treatment plan" at the end of the massage!

With the spa I've found out that if I have someone that's been there for awhile, I don't get a sale's pitch...if it's a newbie...watch out, b/c they never give up on me. Might try Palo's by myself this week...still debating though b/c it'll just be me.
