Palo's for lunch but not for dinner??

That's our plan. We are traveling with another couple and thier daughter (9) and we are planning to eat brunch at Palo while they do the character breakfast. We have no interest in the character breakfast and don't really want to skip a meal with our friends so that is why we are doing it.

We've met alot of people during our cruises with Disney who when first board think the way you are Mrsfuzzmo. We'll just do the brunch, but later wished that they had made dinner ressies too. Your friends DD just might enjoy herself enough at the kids clubs to not want to have dinner with you all every night. Why not make a dinner ressie at Palo for the 4 of you, you can always cancel it if you see things aren't going to work out.

Thanks, we'll play that by ear. I am just really set on brunch right now. The rest, well, come what may.

On our cruise last October we did both brunch and dinner at Palo. On our cruise this October we will only be doing the Brunch. While we enjoyed dinner we really missed going to our regular rotation restaurant. Our servers were great and we really missed them the night we went to Palo. Also, we really didn't find our dinner at Palo to be anything special. The food was very good, but no better than what we had in the dining rooms. The brunch, however, was outstanding and definitely worth repeating.

These, of course, are just our opinion. There are many who love Palo for dinner.

I agree with you michellemouse. We too love to eat in the dining rooms for dinner. It's one of my favorite reasons to cruise. I really enjoy the dinners, servers and hearing stories from table mates from the days events. I don't want to miss that either. I've been on 12 cruises and know how it works and I would miss the interaction. I think we'll just do Brunch and then see what else the week brings. Besides, we are not people that run back to the ship for lunches and dinners while in port. I'm all about doing the local food thing, so because of this itinerary, we will be missing dinner in Key West and Cozumel as well, so looks like brunch to me!
