We have heard people rave about Palo's Chocolate Soufflé.

Since we are only on a 3 day cruise, we were not planning on eating at Palo's. Is there any way to get the Chocolate Soufflé without eating at Palo.

Not any longer. You used to to able to get the server to get you one, but DCL has stopped that.

I think you can go to Palo's and order a chocolate souffle. If I remember correctly, they have a small bar area where you can order coffee and such. I would give it a try.

The part that I found interesting about the souffle was the fact that it had to be ordered early in your dinner to give the chef time to prepare it. Our server told us that everything in Palo is cooked to order - nothing is plated/prepared in advance. So, I would guess, if you came to the bar for dessert and coffee, you may have to wait a bit? Certainly worth a try -- it was DELICIOUS!

I would never miss out on the opportunity to eat at Palo's the Suffle and the Calamari are sooooooooooo worth it!!
I'm already saving my calories!!!:bounce:

Disneycruisers-

Yes, you have to order souffle during your meal, because souffle is a food that cannot be baked ahead of time. It takes 20 min. to cook and you can't fill the souffle cups ahead of time. It just would not bake correctly. I am in the process of trying to find a souffle recipe that comes close to Palo's. I am going to try a few and see how they turn out.

The night after we dined at Palo's I asked the server if we could have the souffle in the regular dining area. He told me I could have it for the next night, just remind him immediately when we come in for dinner. The next night I reminded him right away and he brough one for every lady at our table. Gonzalo, the head waiter/maitre'D, went up to get it for us. Our wait staff was incredible and would do anything for us, we left them all an extra large tip at the end of the cruise - they really deserved it, they were beyond wonderful!

We just got back from a three day cruise (It was wonderful, and much too short). We made the choice to skip our Parrot Cay dinner night, leave the kids in Oceaneer's Club even though it was our first night, and go to Palo's. We'd heard too many good things. And it was the culinary highlight of our trip by a longshot. And, as we've read so often on these boards, our kids were so happy in the club, they didn't want to leave when we went to pick them up.

My suggestion, don't miss Animator's, but go to Palo's for a meal.

I agree with reveric.

Go for the entire meal. It will be the dining highlight of the cruise. You won't be disappointed.

Our server brought us out Italian ice cream to go with the souffle - it was EXCELLENT!
