Okay, I am coming to the experts. We are going to be going on our first Disney Cruise in Sept. (11-night Southern Carribbean). :Pinkbounc We have been signing up for excursions and I was going to sign up for Palo's Dinner. Then, I saw on a discussion forum about the Palo brunch advising that it is much better. But, I can't find where I can make reservations for Brunch only Dinner. Is the brunch a first-come first-serve? Is the brunch an additional upcharge as well? Would you recommend the brunch over the dinner as well?

Thanks for all of your help!! :wave2:

I would recommend brunch over dinner. It is first come, first serve, and harder to get ressies than dinner, because it is only offered on at sea days (last I knew).

If it is not showing up as an option for you online they advance ressies may already be taken. If you are interested in brunch (and it is great!) then try to make brunch reservations as soon as you board.

ITA with what everyone else has said...if you have to decide, do the brunch. On the 11 day I would make time for both. :)

The other part of the equation is this. If you have small kids, it is much easier to put them in the kid's program for a brunch instead of dinner, as the length of time to dine at Palo's at night is legendary.

Do both, totally different dining experiences and in our opinion awesome! Keep checking on line reservation system, there may be cancellations. And not all of the reservations are made avail. on line, from what I've ready only about 50%. So you can most likely get reservations once on board.

:thumbsup2 Good reason for Brunch. I'm glad we booked the Brunch over the dinner. :sunny:

We have had all three and highly recommend both the brunch and dinner. There is a $10 per person charge for brunch as well as dinner. The amount, variety and quality of food at either one is amazing. You can miss a regular meal or two if you go to Palo brunch or dinner.

You didn't ask about high tea, but in case you are interested, the charge for high tea is $5 pp. In my opinion, it was also good, but they did not have as many food selections as some others we had been to. That's why I gave it third place.

My vote is for brunch too! Haven't tried the dinner yet, but brunch was sooooo good!

If you have to pick, definately do brunch!! You should be able to get ressies onboard if you go there first when you board.

There's a great group of Dis'ers on this cruise as well--jump over to the cruise meets forum and you'll find the 11 night Southern Carribean thread...
