We are going on a 3 day cruise....our first disney cruise. My Dh and I love eating in nice places, but I don't want to miss experiencing each dining room. Can we do both on one night? Maybe eat at Palo and then just have soup and an appetizer in the dining room?

Any tips or suggestions?

Yes, here at the DIS we like to call that "double dipping". It usually works better the other way around....just have something small in the regular dining room and book a later reservation at Palo for dinner and dessert, or just dessert!

A lot depends on if you have early or late dining. If you have early dining is it very easy to do...if you have late dining you have less time to fit in a Palo ressie, but it can be done!!!

thanks...

We have late dining and 3 young kids. We really cannot book Palo for after our regular meal. Except for the Amination Palate we are going to feed the kids elsewhere and let them play in the club while we go to our late dinner.

How early is Palo open? Would we be able to eat there before the early show (kids in the club) and be out in time to take our kids to the show?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to just get dessert and coffee at the bar in Palos without a reservation?
