Palo/Small World Nursery start times

We were excited to get Palo Brunch at 10am on our upcoming August cruise, but then when we went to book Small World Nursery for our 2 year old the earliest available start time for that was also 10am. We usually always try to be very punctual on reservations, but is there any flexibility to drop off our little guy a 5-10 minutes early or show up to Palo 5-10 minutes late to make this work? I could also send my husband to Palo in advance to secure our reservation while I drop off the kiddo, if they don't require your whole party to check in at the same time. Interested in knowing the actual early/late policies as well as just thoughts on whether it would be rude of us to attempt to this. Have not been to Palo before so would really like to make it work if it would not be inappropriate.

I'd probably drop by the nursery the day before to work out a drop off time.

It depends when the nursery open house ends that morning. Because all sea days have an open house for the nursery. So if open house ends at 10. You won't be able to drop off before 10. Just let Palo know the day before that you may be late dropping the kiddo off. Not a big deal. They totally realize that they are on a FAMILY cruise ship!

That being said, you can drop your kid off up to 9 minutes prior to your reservation for the nursery without incurring a charge.

Definitely useful info, thanks! The open house would definitely explain why no times earlier than 10am were available (which I thought was odd booking at 90 days out). So glad we will get to try Palo!

You could always send one person up to Palo and the other drop the kiddo off and join.

Not sure what boat you are on but after a quick drop off, you just walk to the back of the boat which should be pretty close and straight up the elevator to Palo. It is a 3-4 min trip so I wouldn’t be worried about being a few minutes late.
