Palo - Price Pending

When I went to book my activities Friday (90 days out from my sailing), I found something interesting.

If I wanted to book Palo dinner, it was $30.

If I wanted to book Palo brunch, it was "Price Pending".

I went ahead and booked it since I know I can cancel later, but what does everyone think? Are they considering lowering the brunch price back to $25? Raising the price?

I found it very odd.

AFAIK, the recent price increase at Palo to $30 was valid for both brunch and dinner. I wouldn't think they would increase it again, so soon. Chances are it's not being reduced. Disney doesn't work that way.

This is truth!!! I didn't think so, but since I thought the change had been to both, I was confused by brunch not having a price.

AFAIK, if you're Platinum, they will charge your first Palo meal (whether brunch or dinner) to you onboard account and then take it off as a credit.

I don't think they just don't charge for it.

I checked for our upcoming cruise (we're not Platinum, yet), and brunch is showing "Price Pending" for us, also.

I didn't book anything. I was just looking. You can book one brunch and one dinner pre-cruise, if there's availability.

If I were booking anything it would be brunch. I wasn't that impressed with dinner the (one) time we did it (not that great a fan of Italian fare).

Im thinking they have "price pending" because a certain number of cruisers already had booked it at the previous price and they have to phase them through? Don't know how long it will take them to update it when it's appropriate. Might already be!

Smart thinking! Though still odd that it shows the price for dinner, but not lunch. If it had been the same, I probably wouldn't have questioned it. It was the fact that one had a price and one didn't that had me scratching my head.

We only have one cruise under our belt and are silver. I'd take the free meal if they were offering, though. (Yea right!)

I booked Palo brunch 2 weeks ago for my cruise (90 days out, no special perks other than castaway club). When I did the booking the price said "Price Pending." However, now when I go back and look at the reservation it says $30. So who knows! But I'm pretty sure it's $30.
