Howdy~

We will be on our first DCL, an 11-day Fantasy cruise this summer with 6 adults (2 grandparents, 2 DS (21 & 23 yo), DH and me. We read that a Palo brunch on a sea day would be a great enhancement to our dining experience.

Some Questions:
- What are the chances of securing a reservation for 1st time cruises for a party of 6?
- If we are able to book, what is the earliest time to eat and what are the chances to getting the earliest time? Is the earliest time popular?

Thanks and cheers!

I just looked, and after the 75-day window opened for a spring break cruise, there are multiple openings for brunch on all 3 sea days on that cruise, which is pretty much fully booked.

I don't think you will get the earliest time, however. Brunch is from 10:30 to 1:00 for seating times, and lasts 2 hours. I would expect to be getting something from noon-1 as a 75-day booking and be happy if earlier is available.

Fantastic. I believe we can book in advance, correct?

My advice is to have everybody book what they can on the day you prefer. If you don't all get the same time, its ok. Just go to the place specified on your embarkation day and Palo is great about putting your party together.

Wow. That’s very helpful.

We had no problem booking brunch for 2 about 45 days out for our 3-night Dream cruise, and we had our pick of times. We chose 10:00am.

If you can't get what you want in advance, go to dining changes after boarding and you can make/change your Palo reservations there.

I was able to book my table of three before I got on the ship. We had brunch at 1030, but I would have preferred a later seating. Usually if you stalk the board you can get seated. I ended up having to book a table for 2 and a table for 1 and they combined my reservations.

Clever. So with a party of 6, I might have to do this. Thanks.
