At the time of making a reservation for Palo, do have to decide at that time if we want a la carts or fixed price?

Separate question: if we end up doing the fixed price, can we supplement the meal with a la carte items as well?

You do not need to specific how you are ordering at Palo when you make a reservation.

If you choose to order from the fixed price menu, you can add additional items at an additional cost.

If you are using the Platinum "free dinner" benefit, you will get a credit of up $45 per eligible person on your bill.

Yes, you don't need to decide if you want prezzo fisso or a la carte at the time of booking, you can tell them once you're ready to order (and not everyone at the table has to do the same thing; some can do prezzo fisso and others a la carte).
