Sorry if this is asked over and over... but I am a very "blouse with jeans and heels" type person... would that be a no-no for Palo?

I'm talking about the dressy-type jeans (Seven for All Mankind, for example)?

And are jackets required for men?

I'm a very casual girl... even when I'm dressed up.

Jeans are a no in Palo.

From the Navigator:

Palo (Dress: Jackt Recommended, Dress Shirt Required - No Shorts or Jeans Please).

If you don't want to dress up there are other options.

I don't know if they'd actually turn you away, but you would be VERY out of place in jeans, even fancy ones. Can you slip on a skirt with that blouse and heels? You don't have to be overly dressed up, but the elegance of the place dictates something a little more formal than cruise casualwear.

My husband wore a shirt and tie but no jacket and I think that was fine.

What is the dress code for Palo brunch?? Would dressy capris and a blouse be okay????

Dressy capris would be fine for brunch. I believe the dress code for brunch is resort casual.

How about my husband??? Does he have to wear a jacket or can he wear a shirt and tie??? ( Palo Brunch )

Jeans are a no no for all the restaurants not just Palo.

Shirt/tie for brunch would work. Brunch is less dressy than dinner at Palo.

I agree that even "dressy" jeans would be tough there. You'll see a lot of people with jeans in the other dining rooms, though - and shorts, etc. On our cruise, these people were definitely the exception. At Palo, people seemed to stick to the dress code more consistently.

DH and I just returned from the 4 night cruise and had the pleasure of eating in Palo's every night. I was very surprised at some of the outfits that I saw there. We witnessed everything from formal gowns to cargo pants and sneakers. I never saw anyone turned away, but then again, I didn't see a pair of jeans on any of the nights. It is definitely upscale and personally I would feel a bit awkard in anything less than dressy clothes.

For the brunch, we dressed resort casual. My husband wore a short sleeve dress shirt, a more casual dress pants (like dockers) and his deck shoes. I wore a casual top, dockers and dressy sandals. We seemed to be dressed similar to our fellow brunch diners.
