Our last cruise was a 3 night, so we skipped PALO. I know many people say it's fabulous, and I think DH and I may try brunch when we do our Western cruise. We don't want to do dinner, because that is one of the times when the family is all together (non-negotiable for any member).

Can anyone give the following info...

Times for brunch. Every day? From what time to what time?
What is on the menu?
What's you favorite item?
What item should we skip?
Is it the same cost as dinner?

Hi. We did brunch on our Western and really recommend it. It is $10/pp (or at least, it is now based on the DCL website). There is a great mix of breakfast & "dinner" items - a few different styles of Eggs Benedict-type eggs, tenderloin, many different made-to-order pizzas, crab legs and shrimp - it was all wonderful. It is part buffet and part ordered. Brunch is offered on sea days from something like 10am to 2pm, but don't quote me! We didn't do big breakfasts or lunches except for this day, and then we went light on dinner. I can't really nail anything I'd say to skip - everything I sampled was very tasty.

It was amazing. Don't miss out on it. Be careful though to not make your reservations on the same morning as your Character Breakfast (unless your kids are older and don't care about it). Oh yeah The pizzas are wonderful.

We did brunch for exactly the same reason. We wanted to keep our family together during dinner and it was easier for them to be at the club during the daytime. I was surprised at how empty the Palos was during the brunch. After all the great reviews, I'd thought that it would be difficult to get a reservation but we got one no problem. We did not even get onto the ship until about 2:30. Palos ressies for dinner were practically all gone.

It's a great spread, a fantastic appetizer buffet plus a main course selection that is out of this world. The waiters are begging for you to try new things. Could not fit the pizza in, too much food.

It was relaxing, casual and a good thing is that you can enjoy the view because it is still daytime. Give it a try!

We did that LOL!! We did show up for breakfast but only ordered food for my daughter, I just had orange juice! I had the Chicken Parm dish and my mom had the pasta dish I had last time that was awesome. We got the tomato pizza, it was really good.
