Palo Brunch

Regarding the shoes - my husband was wearing a flat canvas style shoe, not dress shoes and not sandals/sneakers (not sure what you would call them) but they were white and he had to change them before we were seated. But the guy at the table next to us was wearing a similar shoe in a dark color and at the next table a man was wearing boat shoes (I of course was noticing every guy's feet in the place after they made him change! lol). I would assume it is just what they notice and what they don't.

Yep, I guess it's whatever the host thinks on that day. My husband forgot his dress shoes and wore sneakers. The host said they were ok bc they were dark colored and didn't have a big logo.

Hi All!

I am on the March 20 cruise and I finally got Palo Brunch! Anyway, what is the dress code for the women? Can dress capri's be worn? How about shoes? Thanks for your help.

Capris are on the "do not wear" list. That being said, there are some people who have been able to wear capris. And others who were told to go change.

From the DCL website:
Dress to Impress
To preserve the elegant atmosphere, you are asked to adhere to a strict dress code when dining at Palo. Dress pants and shirt are required for men and a dress or pantsuit is required for women. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

It's your call whether you want to chance it. I'd take something to change into, just in case.

My husband wore solid black Sketcher go-walks with his khakis and polo shirt to brunch.
I doubt anyone noticed.
His shoe choice is not because he thinks they look great--he is diabetic and has issues with his feet. The go-walks work for him.
But I also appreciate not having to take up luggage space with an extra pair of men's dress shoes that would only be worn for a couple of hours.

i wear a polo shirt, slacks and dress shoes. But note that my dress shoes are not probably OK with a Tux (even though I've worn them with a Tux and a suit). Shoes are a bit of an issue with me since i wear size 15!!!
