What is included in Palo Brunch? I know the food is but what about drinks I know one class of champagne each come with it but is there anything that has free refills such as juice or soda because I drink a lot of beverage with my meals?

And for a person that does not eat seafood is Brunch worth the 20 upcharge?

I can't help with the soda question. Even though I normally drink a huge quantity of soda, I never had it at Palo. There is stick to the lemon infused iced water that is in plentiful supply.

I do not eat seafood either and I always felt that I got my money's worth. They have a great selection of cold cuts, breads and cheeses, pastries, various breakfast dishes, pizzas and lunch dishes that are cooked to order as well as a very nice dessert table. I love the grape and cambozola pizza and the Chicken Parmigiana with risotto and those dishes alone are worth the price for me. The sweet almond bread and the chocolate covered strawberries are also very tempting.

Hi! soda is always free, as I believe Juice is. other than the free champagne I have never ordered an alcoholic beverage.

and yes...plenty to eat if you do not eat seafood. Best pizza-blue cheese and grape. Yum! even though it sounds gross.

have fun!

I really wanted to have brunch at Palo but its been sold out for weeks. I do have a dinner reservation there but is there any chance of switching it to brunch or adding a brunch when I get on the ship?

I would head to the venue where you can make changes to your dinner rotation and make/ change Palo reservations as soon as you get on the ship. There is a chance that you will get brunch then.

Yes soda/tea/coffee are free at the brunch - same as in the MDRs.

Yes you can book when you get on board. DCL withholds more than half of available reservation for on-board booking of Palo. Even if they have none available when booking on-board, go on the wait list, as some come available during the cruise.

Fresh off the Wonder two weeks ago. We couldn't get brunch reservations online so we went straight to make them once we got on the ship. We were able to make a brunch reservation and change our dinner reservations. After eating brunch there on Monday we decided we wanted to eat there again one more time and were wait listed for Saturday and sure enough we were able to get in that day as well. Of course this is on a cruise with three sea days.

Brunch was my favorite thing about the cruise! I am not a seafood eater at all and there was plenty to fill me up. I do not like blue cheese and the blue cheese grape pizza was fabulous as was the spicy sausage pizza. Palo also had my favorite dessert of the entire cruise, the sherry trifle, too die for!! To answer your question about the drinks I probably drank my weight in diet coke all three times.

Go and enjoy yourself, you won't be sorry!

For me, the desserts alone are worth the $20 upcharge :rotfl:

my wife an i had many mimosas (sp?) which where basically champange and orange juice. Everytime i finished one, another would magically appear. Brunch is really nice, not just for the drinks, but the food is awesome... here are some pictures for you to drool over :)

What cruises are Brunch available on. We did a 4 night many years ago and had dinner in Palo and we still remember it as one of our best meals. We are doing a 5 night NY to Canada this September and a 4 night Dream cruise November 2013. I am hoping it will be held on our 5 night cruise.

Thanks,
Linda

I have been wanting to do brunch at Palo but am unsure of what day to do it, I really don't want it to conflict with my character breakfast, as I have the late seating.

Oh no - character breakfasts too - what lenght cruises are they offered on. I definately do not want to miss this.
