I can choose one...which would you recommend: Palo Brunch or Dinner. Is there a place that lists the menus? It is for the 5 day Key West Cruise if that matters.

Personally, I really enjoyed the brunch. It is a little less formal and fussy than dinner.

OMG my wife and I where on the 4 night Bahama cruise back and January, I can tell you Dinner for sure, it was absolutely amazing

I highly recommend Palo dinner. However, I have yet to try the brunch (though I REALLY want to!).

I have done both. I will never be returning to Palo for dinner. Like the show dinner in AP it did not live up to they hype. I had not heard anything about the brunch the first time I went. Now that brunch was amazing and the chicken Parm. is to die for. I say go to brunch.

We've done both and if I had to pick just one I would probably go with the brunch. I was absolutely wonderful! DH and DD had the chicken Parm. and declared it the best they've every had. I tasted the risotto that came with it and it was very good... However, we also enjoyed our dinner.

We have done both brunch and dinner and we would definitely choose the brunch. The brunch is fantastic. Dinner was really good too, but I did not like missing dinner in the regular dining room. I love the chocolate souffle dessert for dinner, but our dining room manager will always get us one for dinner one night in the regular dining room. The chocolate souffle is so good. :thumbsup2

We've done dinner twice and brunch once. If we had to pick only one, we'd go for the brunch. Dinner is great, no doubt about it. But brunch is excellent, and the view during the day from Palo is very nice - except for the inquisitive fellow cruisers who peer into the windows!

I know you're limited to booking 1 Palo meal per stateroom, but doest that mean you have to pick either to dinner or brunch?

No. Each person can only book one of each type of Palo meal (dinner, brunch, tea) in advance but you can book all three if they are available.

We've done them all, and they each have their merits. On our 4nt cruise recently we skipped Dinner and did the Palo Brunch, mainly because the night we would have done dinner would have put the meals on back to back days, which is just too much food in too short of time!

Brunch is our hands down favorite. We stopped doing dinner for several cruises but since we are now platinum, we do not have to pay the surcharge so we may go.

Well I love dinner more than breakfast so I would def. choose dinner over breakfast. HOwever with that said I had a great time at the brunch as well. It totally depends on what type of person you are and what you enjoy the most. Whatever you chose, you will love it!
Have a fantastic cruise!

I know you must be an adult to have dinner at Palo (and Remy on the Dream). Am I correct in assuming that brunch and tea are for the "over 18" crowd, also? :)

We have done both (brunch twice and dinner 3 times).

We much prefer dinner. Grab an early slot on Pirate night to watch the sunset!

To us, the brunch is quite ordinary and is similar to a nice hotel's brunch in your hometown. We don't want to waste a significant amount of time on a seaday for brunch unless we have at least 3 seadays on the cruise.

I still need to book my Mexican Riviera cruise, but if I remember correctly, Palo is the restaurant that is not included in the cruise package. Is that right? And if it's not included, would anyone mind telling me how much it costs per person? Thanks! :D

Yes. You must be over 18 for brunch, dinner and tea at Palo's.

There is a $15 per person surcharge for Palo for brunch and dinner. Tea is $5 per person.

We have done both brunch and dinner several times (including both on our Magic cruise last October). We find brunch to be the best if you have to choose between one or the other. The variety is fantastic, the food is delicious, and you can have actual meals made to order also (such as Chicken Parmesan). We will be doing brunch again in June, but not dinner. It is much more difficult to get a brunch reservation prior to boarding the ship since brunch is held only once or twice on a cruise. You will enjoy either, however, no matter which one you choose.

We have done both brunch and dinner multiple times. I prefer to do brunch, because of the variety of yummies that you can sample. Plus, I like being in the dining room for dinner with DD and our serving team. DH really likes both, but he LOVES the tenderloin entree at Palo, so he would probably say to go with dinner. As previously mentioned, the chocolate souffle is awesome, but I'm equally happy with a good chocolate lava cake!

There really is no wrong decision here!

We have done both, and we prefer dinner. I enjoyed brunch, but DH was not WOWed. We have both been WOWed by dinner on multiple occasions. We are planning on booking dinner on our Med cruise.
