Palo Brunch on Treasure- Table for 1 is actually 2?

I was able to secure a reservation for 1 for Palo Brunch on our upcoming Disney Treasure cruise next month. Couldn't find any availability for my husband.

I'm reading posts about glitches on the DCL app (shocking, lol) where people were able to secure two separate reservations and they were told they didn't need to, that a table for one was equal to a table for two. I really don't want to show up for brunch and be told that due to fire code restrictions, my reservation was only for one and I'm dining solo. But I've also been to Palo brunch before on the Dream and it seems like the smallest table there can definitely fit two people (although debatable whether it can hold all that food.....)

Should I be good with just a reservation for one person if both of us show up? Trying to avoid the two hour line at Triton lounge on embarkation morning just to confirm that we are good. Ultimately, I'll probably need to call DCL to confirm since I'm sure that an argument of "well, internet strangers told me it would be okay!" is not, infact, a valid response when checking in.

We were only able to book my husband for our August treasure cruise. I called and they told me we would be fine. They seemed irritated that I called to ask.

I did the same. I made a reservation for 1 which because of the glitch was the only thing I could do. Then I called Disney and told them and they said its actually a reservation for 2 and they made a note of it that my husband is included in the reservation as well.

That's hilarious. Trying to make sure you're playing by their rules, and they seem put-out. Good to know, thank you!

I can confirm the super long line outside of Triton lounge on embarkation day for dining changes. Sailed last week. I was shocked at the number of people in line - we normally sail the fantasy which has a handful of people doing dining changes.

Yes 1 person's name will only be on the reservation but it's for your whole party. So u will have a table for 2.
Follow-up question - if I have a reservation for 1 and go by myself, does the fact that it "it's for my whole party" mean I will be charged for 2? My husband may not want to come.

This happened to us as well and on the phone they assured me both of us could dine.

Follow up question: Does this mean I could theoretically book a second brunch? They limit to one, but if only one is on the reservation it sounds possible. *We won’t do this as we’re traveling with family and want to eat the other meals with them, just curious.

Does anyone know if this applies to Enchante as well? I can get a table for one there with multiple times available, but there is no availability for a table for 2.

All table tops are designed to seat 2 so in theory yes. This glitch has been known to DCL since Nov (I spent a lot of time with their advance IT department on it) and I cannot believe it is 6 month later and still is not fixed.
