I was reading the menus on DCLtribute.com and the brunch at Palo on the Magic sounded better than dinner. Is this an option on the Wonder? Any opinions on this logic?

it's only available on the 4 night Wonder (not the 3 night) and only if there is a day at sea (the brunch is offered only on that day).

Haven't done it yet ourselves, but are looking forward to it in 4 weeks. :hyper:

We did the brunch on our 4 day April Cruise. We loved it. The food was excellent. Plus it was not dark outside so you have a great view. ....enjoy!!

I really enjoyed the brunch on the 4 n Wonder in September. I liked it better than dinner.

What is a good time to book this brunch? Do you skip breakfast to save your appetite?

I liked the brunch better in many ways, too, except no chocolate souffle  We had 11am ressies and thought that worked well. Just had coffee and fruit for BF, would have been too full otherwise. Enjoy :sunny:

Is the fee for brunch, the same as dinner at Palos? $5 per person? or is it $10? Thanks!

we loved the brunch. I think in a way it was better than the dinner. Not as formal and they kept coming over asking if you want any additional food. Like they already stuff you..Well worth the $10.Had the 10 am res and it worked out well.

Does anyone have the menu for the Palo's Brunch
on the 4-day Wonder?

We have cruised so many times on the 3 nights
and on our 4 nights that we have cruised have
always been special sailings that we went to
Freeport and never had the day at sea available
to us.

So this is our first time that we have the Day At Sea
and can do the Palo's Brunch. Trying to find the
Menu that they offer.

Thanks
Dana :)

I was wondering the same thing myself.::yes:: We are set to have palo's the same day that the brunch is for. Does anyone know what is on the brunch menu? Is going to palo's twice in one day a bit much? Tia:) Tina

from memory they have different tables set up with cheeses, shrimp, crab legs, breads, fruits andthey have a few specialty items they show you . my husband had the eggs julia which is like eggs benedict with smoked salmon, they do omelets and pancakes,(I think pizzas or was that at night) a meat dish and desserts!!!My ds had a mimosa and I don't believe they charged for it.I also liked the daytime experience at Palo as you can see the ocean view as you eat.

There is a very small menu for a cocktails and a few items which are specially ordered, otherwise the brunch is a buffet. From memory, the specialty order items were pizza (you had to order a whole one), blueberry pancakes, eggs benedict (I didn't see the salmon dish but this one definately had canadian bacon - I ordered it), pasta and chicken in a rich cheese sauce (very yummy but can't remember the name). Their specialty cocktail is a Mimosa (which was good but also looked lovely in the pictures) and one was included. The photographers did come around and with the ocean in the background and us dressed up those were some of the nicest pictures we got onboard. Note that the brunch is less formal for clothing than the dinner - nice resort casual the norm. There is also a dessert table at the buffet with mini desserts (sadly, no choc souffle).

DH reading over my shoulder and wants to add our favorite buffet items were the roasted garlic (by itself - unbelievably good), marinated grilled eggplant, summer squash and zucchini (eggplant the best IMHO). I have some great pictures of all of these things if I could ever figure out how to get them on here :teeth: (Guess I better get over to the technical board).

P.S. I could email the pics of the brunch if you want to PM me with your email address.

The logic of why brunch > dinner? Mmmmm, because brunch is just such a yummy concept and Palo's does it oh so well. :)

I loved Palo's dinner, but I thought the brunch was just divine. Their cheese table is great, the shrimp were great (crabs not so great), their hummus was great. It was just great. It's particularly good for people )like me) to like to nosh on a bit of everything, rather than have one big plate of food.
