Palo Brunch does not say "Sold Out" but...

...when I try to book it for my parents and myself I get a red note with the 800 number that they are unable to complete the request at this time.

It doesn't flat-out say Sold Out like the things that are, but does that mean it probably is?

(This is for May so I know we're behind the curve on it, but I'd really like to treat them to brunch.)
 
It’s likely sold out. I’ve had a few things say that even pre- site update.
 
I’ve seen that before and someone once explained that happens when there is not a table for your selected party size but there might be one for a different party (e.g. a large group in the private room).

Ugh. That's what I was afraid of. It won't work for just me either (so no 2-tops or 4-tops). I guess I'll aim to be on the first bus from the airport and then beg when I get on board.

I’m having the same problem trying to book the unlimited photo package, I don’t dare call the number right now though.

That gives me some hope. I wouldn't think a photo package could sell out.

I'm afraid the other two may be right though as I could book dinner. The problem with that is my dad's favorite thing is on the a la carte menu, and I only have the prix-fixe amount in the budget.
 
Yes for photo package it will not be available if you attempt to book for more than one person

There is always hope for the waitlist. I say go ahead and get on it no matter how long it is. We wanted a brunch reservation and there were none to be had pre-cruise. Once onboard we checked in to see if there was anything available, and there was not. They also had a long waiting list, and the cast member gave a look that said "I'll add your name but there is no way your getting into brunch." One hurricane and two extra sea days later and guess who got a call that they had room and would we like a brunch reservation?! So if you don't get a spot, go ahead and get on the waitlist. You never know.

I think your chances will be pretty decent for getting a spot. They usually hold spots back for onboard booking. In addition, if there’s enough demand on the waitlist, they sometimes extend the hours for brunch. That’s happened to us before.
 
To get on the waitlist once on the ship do you have to go to the location or can you use the app chat function?
 
I got that red message while trying to book the Wish MV Palo Brunch....the website was wonky for everyone that night with so many people trying. A page would pop up and then spin, and spin, and spin. End result was hardly Palo Brunch was sold out.

For my January cruise I texted through the app to the dining team while I was eating embarkation lunch at Cabanas and was able to get Palo Brunch for 4 people. Good Luck.

Thank you! I'll definitely try that if I can't grab it before we board. They've said they could do the fixed price menu for dinner, but I'd only want to do that the night of the Pirate menu (not that we dislike it, but I know they like the other MDR menus) and I can't get that until 8:30 which is very late for something as heavy as Palo.

Are they doing texting rather than the table for that kind of thing now?

On the Dream in September and the Magic in January you couldn't go to guest services and they didn't have the dining changes/Palo area set up. The only way was to text through the app...I did hear a few people say they went directly to Palo but personally can't verify that. Don't know currently if they have changed the process back to way it used to be.
