Pal Mickey?

We are planning to bring the Pal Mickey that we purchased at WDW last year. Do we need to do anything to re-activate (re-program) it? If so, where can we do this? Thanks for the help!

Congratulations on your purchase of a slightly used Pal Mickey. I absolutely love mine since I bought him in 2003 and couldn't imagine the World without him.

I had him re-activated at one of the shops that sells him. The cashier said it wasn't necessary, but said she would do it anyway. So go ahead and do it at any shop that sells them.

I bought one in 2003, when they first came out. I took him back in 2004 and he seemed to be working just fine. Being slightly over obsessed and with more money than sense I did buy the new one too this last trip. I will take him along in November I expect.

If you have got as far as the end of Main Street and he hasn't buzzed, he might need re-activating. There are a couple of points going down Main Street that should set him off. To re-activate try on Main Street in MK, the shop Main Street Cinema (on the right as you are walking towards the castle) was where I got my Pal Mickey (number 2!!) and they had all the gizmos needed to activate him. Hope that helps.

What is the activating, is that to get it working again, or were you talking about an update? If I understand what you are saying, then no you can not get any updates on it because we were there in June, and they said it was a mistake. You can still use it on the old rides, but not on any of the new. Unless I misunderstood your question.
