Pal Mickey

We just got back and rented Pal Mickey for $8/day - what a fun thing. Picked it up in the early morning and could return it the following day by noon if we wanted.

It was so entertaining - told jokes, commented about the buildings, parade times, animals, etc. My DS listened much more to Mickey than he would to us!

In all we had him four days, and then returned him. It's a great deal. Check it out.

What is Pal Mickey? I never heard of it but it sounds neat. Especially since your son liked it. Can you give me more info on it. Thanks!

We just returned from a weekend at WDW. We tried to rent Pal Mickey from two different stores at MK. At Main Street Cinema, the CM was clueless. She didn't know how to ring it up, and then she couldn't find the form we were supposed to fill out. Finally, we told her to forget it. Then we headed over to Mickey's Star Traders, in Tomorrowland. Again, the CM couldn't figure out how to ring it up. She kept trying to get a hold of somebody over the phone, but wasn't having any luck. Again, we decided to just skip it. All together, we wasted a half hour of park time. Very frustrating.

I hope we have better luck next time.

Pal Mickey is a stuffed I mean real Mickey doll that has a radio transmitter in it. As you walk around the parks he vibrates and you squeeze his hand and he talks to you.

He tells you when the parades are, interesting facts about the parks, but mostly corny jokes. He is really cool. When we were waiting in line to see Minnie Mouse his heart started beating real fast and he said he was very excited to see her, etc.

He costs $60 or you can rent him for $8 a day or they have a Pal Mickey swap on the budget board where you can share the cost with other families.
