Has anyone purchased Pal Mickey? What was is like? Is it worth the money?

Me and DD8 will be taking our first trip to Disney in August, and I am looking for some things that will make the trip Extra magical.

When we checked it out in one of the Main Street stores, he seemed a little cumbersome.

We had our Mickey for a few years now, and he comes back with us every time. Mickey is EXCEPTIONAL in AK & Epcot, lots of help. It depends on how many days and often you plan on going...BUT I highly recommend him.

Pal Mickey is great, he has alot to say, and the kids love him. Grandkids get to play with him at home, right now he's in need of a make over, so he'll be staying home this next trip.
