Have you taken your Pal Mickey back to WDW after you first bought and used him?CM told us when we bought ours in December 2003 that when we came back,if we we pointed his nose forward when we entered parks Pal Mickey would update his program information. My question is have you done this?Did you notice any updated or new information on your second or third time using Pal Mickey?Thanks:wave2: :goodvibes :wizard:

I loaned my Pal Mickey to a friend who went in October (we bought him during our June trip). I don't know if he got any new info since we weren't with them, but they said he worked great.

I have taken my Pal Mickey back several times since I first bought him early last year, and I believe what updates when he goes through the turnstyles are things like: what park he is in (so he knows which things to say), and what the parade, showtimes, and fireworks times are. He seems to say the same things near the same attractions in each park, but once he goes through the turnstyles he knows which park he is in, and seems to remind of events at the correct times.

Pal Mickey also lets you know when line-ups for certain rides are short so this would change each trip into the park. i bought Pal Mickey for my dd in dec and she is going to lend him to me for my solo trip in 2 weeks:D

I haven't taken Pal Mickey back yet. I'll let you know when I do, though :)

The updates I noticed where the show and parade times. He would say a certain ride's line was short. I haven't tried that advice out yet. My understanding was the updates would be mostly show and parade info and when they do add other things from time to time.

I asked this same thing on another board. I thought it automatically updated as it entered each park. Someone who goes all the time said she was told to take PM to the gift shop and the CM would upgrade it. She said she did and it only took a couple of minutes.

Haven't tried it yet myself...just passing along what others have said.
