Pal Mickey toy-have you bought or rented it?

This is great. Thanks to those who posted pictures or links to pictures. Even though we travel without kids we will be buying one on our upcoming trip. Just when you think that Disney has figured out all of the ways to seperate you from your money while you are there they come up with something else. I will have to add $50 to our budget

They are $47 plus tax. I saw them on ebay for $75...

We bought two! One for my mother and one for my son.
Of course I was carrying Mickey more than my son was. It was a lot of fun to play with in the parks.

He tells a lot of corney jokes but I'm a corney joke kind of gal, so that works for me. He also has some neat information about places in the parks. Especially in the World Showcase, he had interesting things to say about the various countries.

Pal Mickey does have a clip on him so you can clip him to something. It is recommended you clip him to a beltpack so he can receive the waves from both the ground and air.

You do have to hold him to your ear to listen to him. He doesn't want to disturb those around him.

He has an ingenious sort of clip. Mickey hangs from the back of it on a sort of hook. You can lift Mickey off the Loop with out unclipping the clip, this makes it easy to lift Mickey to your ear to hear what he has to say.

Yea, can you get a Pal Mickey by ordering it, or is it only available through the parks? We're going in a few weeks, but my fear is that they will be "sold out" by the time we arrive. This is just too neat: I don't want to miss out!

I called at the beginning of April when Pal Mickey was announced, but the CM didn't know about it or show it in her computer. It may be available now. If someone calls and orders it, please post.
