Pal Mickey question....

My dd has had her Pal Mickey since '03. We have taken Mickey to WDW several times now and not had any problems with him. We leave on Sat and she wants to bring him yet again. Do we have to stop someplace and have him 'reprogramed' so that he works with all the new stuff? I think we had to do that several years ago. Not sure what we have to do now since he's an older model.

sorry Diane but PM won't update with the "new stuff" he just can't. You can always stop in the Cinema on Main Street USA and verify. There was a thread not that long ago that explained the whole thing but with the search that we have.....I can't find it.

From my understanding of said previous threads is that he will not have any information on any new rides or attractions, but will still work fine with the rides that were around when you bought him, and will still have the relevant information regarding parades and such. He cannot update his vocabulary, but can still recite the things in his memory.
