Touching/Heartwarming DCL Ad

I was talking to a friend about this ad and I figured out one of the many reasons why it works. It appeals to families who have grown up doing DCL vacations and have strong memories of their kids at different ages from various trips. It also appeals to families who have never done a DCL vacation and does a fantastic job of selling the idea that this could be your family someday. You can start the tradition now.

Totally agree here. Disney really made sure you wouldn’t regret coming to their cruise ships.

I always get a little lump in my throat seeing any Disney commercial but this actually made the tears come when I saw this commercial. After a 10 year hiatus from doing DCL (my 2 boys just weren't into it as teens), my 22yo DS said he really wanted to go back on a DCL--didn't care where--that he missed it. This was after a great trip to DLR over Christmas. The last DCL we had my parents with us and it was awesome. This cruise, we're bringing them with again but they're both slowed down and have struggled with their health. To see this DCL commercial with the UP music playing and have the dad and son grown through the years and end up as a multigenerational family cruise really hit home. Good job Disney marketing! This hit the nail on the head why we choose DCL over and over again!
