Pal Mickey belt clip?

Did I read correctly somewhere, is there such a thing as a belt clip for Pal Mickey?.....

If so, can you buy them pretty much anywhere in WDW?

I've decided I don't like the lanyard approach - would much rather have him clipped at waist-level (probably on my - *shhh* - fanny pack! ) and I'm hoping I can pick something up there, maybe even at our resort shop.

Don't wait till you get to WDW.

Go to any store that sells sporting goods and buy a "Carabiner Clip".

Fast to put on or off and they don't "unhook" unless you WANT them to.

If he's down at your waist, you may not be able to hear what he says clearly.
That's the reason he's usually on a lanyard.

Yes, the carabiner works good. I lost my original clip and use the carabiner now.

I had to chuckle when I read this, as I worked for Eastern Mt. Sports for years and stood daily with an entire wall of various carabiners right behind me!!!! However, that option never occured to me but I can see it being a great idea! Sounds like people have had issues with the clip slipping off.

I've heard that Pal Mickey is quiet, esp. the original which is what I've got. He did come with a lanyard but the darn thing has me pulling my hair out over how to use it. There are two places with velcro, and a metal ring at one end, but no matter where I tried to position him, he always seemd to slide to the lowest point and never where it was comfortable for me! Does Mickey vibrate every time he has something to say?...if so, what's the lag time between the vibration and his announcement?

Thanks again for the carabiner idea!! Maybe I'll try to clip him to the shoulder strap of my backpack instead, to move him up closer to my ear.

This may not be for everyone, but I zipped him into my backpack sticking out from the waist up, facing forward, so I could reach back and grab his hand when he told me he had something to say. He was already close to my ear so I could hear him, and my husband didn't care if he heard him or not (I just told him what Mickey had to say).

Pal Mickey is just so darned cute! He sits on my computer desk when he is not touring the World. Sometimes I turn him on just to hear him giggle! (Yes, I am a big kid!)
