We requested a crib for our room, it says on the WDW resort website a "Pak & Play Crib". Is that like one of those Graco pack & play playpens? Kayla can sleep in a regular crib, but a playpen type thing would probably be too small for her. She's around 34 inches tall.

We had the same problem with our son. Although you can request a regular crib at most resorts, I was not happy with them at all. The mattresses were extremely soft.... too soft, I think, for a child to sleep on. The mattress was also very thin, so it would not have been comfortable. I found a pack-n-play by L.A.Baby that is larger than the typical pack-n-play, and purchased that to take with us on our trips. We have been using it for a few years now, and have been very happy with it.

My 4 year old still uses the Pack-n-Play at Disney-- calls it his Disney trip bed. He's now 40 inches tall, still wants the darn thing, so hey, who's to argue with that?

Well, we went away on a weekend vacation. Kayla slept in the pack & play the first night -- and then wanted nothing to do with it the second night. She cried and cried (and this is a child who NEVER cries) until I took her out and put her in bed with me. And then she fell right asleep and slept through the night. Of course, I didn't get ANY sleep because I kept waking up to see if Kayla was still on the bed!

ahhhh, but at least she slept;)

seriously, it's funny she was happy in it the first night, but not the second.

I think she wasn't happy the first night in the Pack & Play. She kept waking up and trying to get comfortable. I guess she remembered that on the second night!
