Painted sneakers for our trip!!!!

Hello everyone, Just wanted to share some sneakers that I painted for our trip. This is the first of many DIY I have to get done by the end of next month.



My DD13 and I have Buzz and Jessie.





DS4 has Buzz and Woody






This is our Monsters Inc sneakers.

DS4 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse sneakers

All the sneakers together.

These were a pair of old pair of Vans that I had so I made some bling "designer" sneakers and matching ears.

These are amazing! I am curious to find out what kind/brand of paint you have used and if there has been any cracking after drying? I have used fabric paints before but I had trouble with it cracking after it dried.

I used regular acrylic paints that I got at walmart. I covered it with outdoor modge podge which I wasn't in love with bc it made them glossy. so I went over them with a matte modge podge spray sealant and they look better now. We haven't worn them but for a few minutes so far but I haven't seen any cracking.

I found these sneakers for under $15 yesterday and decided to make them disney-fide
They started out all black with white soles.







Now I need to focus on Mickey ears and t-shirts
