I know its coming back and moving to California Adventure with the opening of Pixar Pier. My question is will it stay there afterwards or will it be gone again? Any idea or word on longer term planning?

You are asking questions about it leaving before it has started ;) but frankly no ones knows and everything you hear would be a pure guess. My pure guess is PTN will stay around awhile at DCA. I would not be surprised if it is still going strong after a few years. It is, simply put, the best Disney parade ever.

I bet it stays until after the SWGE crowd surge is complete. It’s a way to move people out of DL into DCA.

At this point, we only know that it'll be around until September 3. After that, it's anyone's guess. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes on hiatus during the holidays through Spring Break and returns in the late-Spring through fall period. I think it all depends on how popular it is (and what kind of crowds of draws into DCA). They could always move them, but the booths for the Festival of Holidays, the Lunar New Year Celebration, and Food & Wine Festival are along the parade route, making it difficult to have both a festival and a parade at the same time (they used to put the Pixar Play Parade on hiatus during the F&W) and I can't really image DCA giving up the food and wine festivals (they seem pretty popular)...
