Paint the Night Parade coming to WDW?

Also, the cynical part of me thinks Disney will hope more people will be like you and have this be another motivating factor to buy tickets to MVMCP: "hey folks, we know that some of you are disappointed that MSEP is no longer being offered but we are excited to tell you that there is a way to create new memories with a nighttime parade at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! ..... For a small fee of course"

I wonder if perhaps Disney will leave Magic Kingdom without a parade during the holidays, thus encouraging even more people to sign up for MNSSHP and MVMCP, and then announce that some new nighttime offering will be coming in January. Or perhaps they're going to go to the seasonal model that Disneyland is using and only have a nighttime parade at certain times of the year. If this decision has been made now, they could have something -- either a refurbished MSEP or a new offering that we don't yet know about -- ready to go for next summer, for example.

According to WDW News Today, Disney has confirmed that MSEP will be closing at Magic Kingdom October 9th and moving to Disneyland for a "limited engagement." They also say Disney has confirmed that PTN will be staying at Disneyland and be used on a seasonal basis. So that leaves Magic Kingdom without a parade for the moment.

Interesting. So we could possibly see a refurbished MSEP back at Disneyland next year and PTN at WDW? That would make sense.

Possibly. This is all speculation but things I've heard also, PTN could go to Paris, WDW or Shanghai. MK could also get a brand new nighttime parade late 2017, or FoF could run at night as well.

I could see them wanting to give MK a brand new parade. I could also see them wanting to send PTN overseas. What I can't really see is them leaving MK with nothing except the holiday parades, not even a seasonal parade of some sort, all the way until late 2017. That would mean not a single nighttime parade at MK from the time the Christmas parade ends until next September when the Halloween parades start up again. And even what they do have would be hard ticket events only. I would think they would do *something* in the interim while they were developing a new parade, don't you?

I bet (until a new parade debuts) that it is a night time version of FoF. I think PTN is a beautiful parade but then again LED lights DO make my pants go crazy, so I would love something in that realm to come to WDW MK. I betcha FoF could be outfitted with lighting that would work in an interim manner.
