Just wanted to mention this in case it hasn't been discussed. We had a very rainy and cold but fun day in Epcot today, and one of the things my daughter and I enjoyed the most was part of the Arts Festival. A little past Canada, I believe, there was a giant unpainted wall mural, composed of little white numbered squares. You go through a queue and are handed a little cup of a numbered paint color and a foam brush. Then you go find any 6 squares of that number and paint them. I'd say it was 1/8 done as of today, maybe less. They have a big picture of what it supposedly will look like when it's all done! Fun to be a part of it, and it's absolutely free. :-)

That's a really neat thing!! Thanks for sharing!

This is something I am looking forward to. I was concerned it would be complete by the time we get there next week. I saw some photos that it looked about 75% done. Maybe the photos were from a previous festival? Or maybe the put out a new one when it fills up?

I originally posted I thought it was around 1/4 done but when I went back to look at the 3 photos I took, I realized it was definitely less than that. If I had to guess I would say this might have just been started today or yesterday. I don't know if there were other ones; there was only one big sign up showing what the completed picture would be, and they gave us each a postcard of it too..

@yulilin3 had earlier posted a photo of the 1st mural that was completed. This may be mural #2 or #3?

My CM friend wants to take part in painting the mural tomorrow. It should be easy to find?

weekend 1 first mural was completed in a day and a half, they told us we could fill in 4 spots. I went on Saturday and they said that the murals were being completed every day, now you can only fill in 2 spots. It is such a fun activity, even if it takes less than 5 minutes, the sense of everyone coming together to complete it is real cool. It's the the World Showcase Promenade, closer to the Canada side

this was the completed product day two of the festival

Ah -I missed that photo the first time- thank you! The mural we worked on yesterday is the same picture. I guess they just keep doing it over again! I wonder if they'll keep any of them or preserve them to hang?

We thought crowds were low yesterday and I guess I was right since they allowed us to do 6 squares.

Yes, it is easy to find. If coming from Germany towards Canada, the entrance to the queue will be on your left. There was no wait at all.

What happens with the paint brushes when you're done with them? Do you throw them away or does Disney wash and reuse them?
