I have a very painful lymph node, only on the left side of my neck. It doesn't feel swollen. But it is painful to touch and when I turn my head certain ways. Any ideas? I have a doctor's appointment on Friday for blood work (unrelated) so I'm going to have it checked out then. I have zero symptoms of anything else.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. I had to stop reading things on Google.

Probably a muscle pain. I get lots of neck muscle pains. I have migraines and during an attack, I feel various levels of neck pain, which feel a lot like painful lymph nodes. Right now, I had a migraine last night and when I palpate my lymph nodes in my neck, they hurt. There are a LOT of muscles in your neck and can cause that kind of pain.
