Paid off or not paid off (DVC that is)

It looks like the "haves" lead the "have nots" in this case. Still paying mine off, have 6 to go, but hope to pay off early. The "car" gets paid off soon, so no 2 car payments!! woo hoo! Maybe hit the DVC bill then.
Although, I am not in a hurry to pay DVC off. I can claim interest on these, but NOT on my mastercard or visa. Guess which one will be paid off first?? ......

I'll never know when mine is paid off. It went into the blender that is our home equity line. If I assume all payments are going toward DVC (rather than our new roof, heat pump, etc.), we'd be paid off within a year.

We bought our first contract and made a few payments before paying it off. We paid cash for our second contract.

Wishing we were so lucky to have our contract paid off! We are in the 6-8 year catagory. We did just pay off my car though and that feels great!

We will have a nice windfall next month and then start paying off our contract in bigger payments...so we hope to have it paid off in the next couple of years, plus I'm ready to add more points!

I voted 3-5 years.
My target is 2 1/2 - 3 more years to pay. Four of my six contracts are paid in full, and the other two are being paid down extra each month...

Paid off both contracts......sort of. We used our home equity loan to pay off the first contract (which was at 9%) a few years early. Then we added on and used our home equity loan as the source of the funds.

If our home equity loan weren't maxed out, we might consider another addon.

We have 350 points which we bought last year and finally paid off this month.

Both our contracts were financed through DVC for three years; original loan will be paid off Sept. 2005, and our add-on will be paid off Aug. 2006. Both my wife and I hope to retire in 2006, so unless we do another add-on, the timing is just right.
