Paid Lightning Lane - need to change park reservation - please help!

I’m at WDW now. We have park hoppers, and my family has MK reservations for this morning. We plan to hop to HS in the afternoon. We paid for ROTR lightning lane. Now, some in the family want to hang back at the hotel and just go to HS later in the day. As I understand it, I will need to cancel the MK park reservation and rebook at HS. Will this also cancel out the paid lightning lane? If so, any suggestions? Thanks!

Lightning Lane should be fine as it only looks for park reservations when you buy it.

Since you can't cancel an ILL$ I doubt that this will cause them to be cancelled.

You will need to cancel the park reservation for those who aren't going to MK and re- book them to HS, this will not affect the ROTR LL.

If for some reason you can't rebook they would need to go to MK, tap in and then "hop" over to HS

It's a vacation..... rest and relax is what you are suppose to do.

But yeah it's tough to not get the most out of any ticket you are paying for....

These are your best options. If today is like most days, there will be no HS park reservations available.

Sounds like they just paid for 1 individual ride, not G+. We didn't use our hoppers every single day we were there, still found them valuable.
