PaHunters camping season comes to an abrupt close due to cancer.

Good to see you back to posting updates Chris. Continued good thoughts and prayers. And on a side note, I finished the Space Shuttle that I got while at Disney. I decided not to wing it and I used the 300+ page instruction manual. :rotfl2:That thing is sweet. I look forward to seeing more of your completed models.

Thank you, glad to feel good enough to post.

The Shuttle is very nice, Lego did a very nice job with it and it is impressive when done. Everyone who comes by the room asks about it. Have to make room in the curio cabinet when I get home to display it.

Well today is a week since the transplant. I am up this morning and feeling good. See if Dr say we are still on course today.

DW visited yesterday and during the course of her stay I started the Imperial Shuttle lego set. It has 6 bags of lego's, only did the first one, in no hurry, as I have a few more sets to build while here.

Also started researching life career number, oh heck, I have lost track. Trying to find my way again after this year, and something I will be able to do with the restrictions I will have for awhile.

Glad you are feeling better and getting some energy back. At least you have football to watch today.

Still lots of hope that this will indeed be your road to recovery.

On the career objective, you have the rare opportunity to reimagine what will bring you joy with the restrictions in place. I sort of know that feeling, after my accident/foot surgery the downtime gave me the opportunity to see that I was not happy where I was. While I did not need to change careers, it also allowed me to search for the next opportunity and be picky about what I wanted to run towards. I hope you have success in this as well as you figure it out.

Looking forward to more build updates.

We hope it is too. Still early.

I have an idea of what I would like to do, now to plan it it and get funding.

Chris Thought about you Jenn and Reba during the week. I am sure spending the holiday in the Hospital was less desirable than spending it overseas or worse yet in the field. Hope you found a way to be grateful and had the best day you could. Prayers for all of you and for good news for all of you

Having spent Thanksgiving both overseas and in the field, still had my share to be grateful for.

My sister was in to visit my parents and on her way back to Indiana stopped to visit with me. I am sure Reba misses me, as tomorrow is day 72 in the hospital.

Hey Chris, glad your sister was able to stop by and see you. Stay strong friend. I can't imagine what 72 days in a hospital would be like. Continued good thoughts and prayers and keep the faith. Good days are a coming :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Steve

Chris Super that your sister got to see you and praying with a little luck you will be home with your 2 girlfriends soon.
Been there with you brother on Holidays Overseas and in the Field. At Least then we weren't alone. Our Brothers were there with us to help carry the load.

Glad your sister was able to visit. 72 days is unreal. You catch Michigan yesterday?

Man that is a long time in the hospital. I am hopeful that this takes and you continue to improve and can finally go home to recover.

Yes I did catch the Michigan game, and I was glad that like 99 percent of the broadcasters were not even giving us a chance.

Well we don't want to put the horse before the cart, but Dr came in today and said numbers look really good, gave me a high five. And then told me they believe they can discharge me by the end of the week. Which would be really nice, to get back to my own house and my own cooking. Having the dog around to snuggle with.

News of a potential DISHCHARGE on the horizon is great news. We all knew you were to sick to be in a hospital, You need to be home under Jenn's care and Reba's supervision to get better
