Paging Pity, party of one.....

Im having a pity party today.

My whole family is getting together this weekend without me
All my brothers are home for my cousins wedding and I'm not there. We were supposed to get flooring installed today so we stayed home and now the flooring guy doesnt even show up! We decided to stay home to get this done and also because were going up in June, so another trip that quick would take its toll. 8 hours each way for one day is a lot of stress!

Im so sad that theyre all together ( were rarely in the same town at the same time, once every 3 years or so) and Im going to miss them.


I get to do a "conference call" with them tomorrow but its just not the same.

Anyone want to join my pity party?

O.K. I have just rsvp'ed to come to your pity party. I will bring you something from a garage sale as a gift, it will be a real bargain Even better than the rock tumbler. O.K. maybe some cool rocks you can tumble and give out as gifts when you turn them into necklaces and paperweights. P.S. I am having my own pity party this friday. Its my birthday and our anniversary, same day no less and DH will be somewhere in Europe on a business trip with his rotten boss. So come to mine too o.k.

I can completely relate. My family is spread out all over and it's very rare we are all together. This June we'll be meeting up for the 1st time in 4 years.
