padlocking suitcases

We had our cases searched on return trip from orlando the locks had been taken off and not put back on and we never had a note put inside, ive also read somewhere on these boards that someone did lock their cases with TSA approved locks but customs never bothered to put the locks back on their suitcases.

It does make you wonder who searched your luggage if no official note was put in.

I actually felt much happier using the Virgin DTD check-in than if I'd checked the cases in at the airport, as they were all packed tightly in the rentavans and (presumably) only unpacked at the plane door. On the way out though I was a bit worried that they'd get opened between check-in and the flight because of them being at the airport overnight.

Dirty underwear instead of chocolates - gross! (But less fattening - perhaps it was a message )

The suitcases from the downtown disney check in go through the same x-ray system at the airport as if you checked them in at MCO.

hi all ...if you do not lock cases and something suspect is placed in there by whoever where do you stand, normally when you check in you are asked has anyone had access to your cases if they are not locked i think i would panik a little...advice?
