We are doing 4 day land/4 day sea April 27th-May 5th and renting a pool home for a week after the cruise.

My theory is: time is money and I don't want to waste any valuable time doing laundry the first week if at all possible!

My dhs idea of packing is just empty the drawers into the suitcases and make sure everyone has two large suitcases. That's great, however we would have to rent a bus to lug the stuff around the next week!

There are 4 of us and I feel we should each have 10 changes of casual clothes (shorts& t-shirts). The days at the park we may change more often if it is warm. Is this enough? I realize on the cruise bathing suits and coverups will probably be the norm through the day. Packing at least 2 each, 3 for me.

How many pairs of jeans? Does it cool off much in the evening? Sweat shirt , jacket or both?

Any help is appreciated.

April-May...I wouldn't think you would need any jeans...they are heavy and warm.

I would pack light...and when you arrive on the ship..send the dirty clothes out immediately when your luggage arrives..let disney do your laundry for you. It will all be back, fresh and clean the next morning (afternoon).

Great, we won't pack any jeans. Anything else I can do without? I have read having disney do your laundry can get quite expensive, how expensive?

Check dcltribute.com, they have the laundry price list.

We weigh what our vacation time is worth..against the time we would spend standing in the laundry room doing laundry ourself.
Doing it ourself loses every time.
