I know there's a great packing list that everyone swears by here on the DIS. BUT I cannot open it to save my life. I don't have excel and I've tried and tried to figure out how to open it in another format and my computer won't let me. Does anyone have a list that I can open in Microsoft Works?

I need to start gathering things together for our cruise in three weeks and I don't have an extensive list to follow. I'm a list person and without one I feel empty! :scared1:

Try Openoffice.

It is a pretty good knockoff of Microsoft Office. It has a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation Maker and Spreadsheet (Excel) program. It is all free and it will open Microsoft files (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Openoffice.org to download. I think I have the list and will try to send you a PDF of it, but I always found it nice to modify for my own use.

Andrew, that's the one I am trying to get to but my computer will not let me...
